What is This Programme

A Data Analyst helps organisations turn their data into clear insights so leaders and teams can make much better decisions.

Over approximately 15 months, learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to work with structured and unstructured data, clean and prepare datasets, explore patterns, test hypotheses and communicate findings effectively.

The programme builds capability in data governance, SQL, data modelling, analysis, visualisation, predictive techniques and stakeholder reporting, with practical learning applied directly in the workplace.

By the end of the apprenticeship, learners are equipped to turn data into insight, insight into action and action into measurable business results.

This Programme Aims To:

  • Work with structured + unstructured data from multiple sources
  • Clean, transform and prepare data for meaningful analysis
  • Explore data using appropriate analytical methods
  • Apply techniques to test hypotheses and identify patterns
  • Use models where relevant to support insight generation
  • Communicate results clearly to influence decisions
  • Uphold ethical, secure and governed handling of data

What's Involved?

Workshops + Workplace Learning

Learners develop their capability through expert-led workshops and practical workplace learning. Each module is designed to help participants apply data analysis, reporting and stakeholder communication skills directly in their day-to-day role.

Portfolio of Evidence

Throughout the programme, learners build a portfolio showing how they have applied their knowledge, skills and behaviours in the workplace. Evidence may include datasets, SQL queries, dashboards, reports, data models, stakeholder outputs, reflections and examples of business improvement.

Applied Project

A core element of the programme is applying learning in a live business project. Learners define a problem, prepare and analyse data, interpret findings and communicate recommendations that support measurable business improvement.
