What is This Programme


HR support professionals play a critical role in helping organisations achieve future objectives, support growth, and deliver long-term outcomes.

HR apprenticeships, including HR Support, strengthen hiring and onboarding and lay the groundwork for developing and rewarding your workforce in line with your HR mission and strategy.

Over 14 months, this programme builds the confidence to provide legally compliant advice, handle day-to-day HR queries, and support HR processes and systems.

Learners finish ready to contribute meaningfully to employee experience and organisational success.

This Programme Aims To:

  • Provide the fundamental abilities and knowledge required to work in a contemporary HR department
  • Impart the abilities and dispositions required to assist employees from hiring to retirement
  • Help learners communicate the company's overarching goals to staff, establish a culture and control behaviour
  • Improve understanding of how to assist managers most effectively

What's Involved?


Expert Training

Highly interactive, contextualised virtual workshops led by an HR expert so learning can be applied immediately with practical models, skills and tools.

Portfolio of Evidence

Workplace evidence (work product, meeting notes, reflective/witness statements, project plans and proposals) forms the basis of EPA discussions and activities.

Coaching Support

Monthly 1:1 coaching to apply skills, troubleshoot challenges, and collect the right evidence for End-Point Assessment.

Explore macro/micro market factors, culture, structures and how HR priorities support business objectives.

Module 2

Working Toward Becoming an HR Professional

Build professional communication, ethics and self-awareness aligned to the CIPD Profession Map.

Module 3

Regulatory Compliance and Managing Employee Data Systems

Apply core UK employment law and data protection to fair, inclusive HR practice and accurate records.

Module 4

Analysing and Using HR Information

Use service standards, KPIs and root-cause analysis to improve HR service delivery.

Module 5

Foundations of Recruitment Support in HR Operations

Support compliant recruitment using ATS, accurate records and clear candidate communication.

Module 6

Stakeholders & HR Challenges: Managing Relationships

Understand stakeholder needs and manage sensitive situations with professional communication.

Module 7

Enhancing HR Service Delivery Through Process Improvement

Map and improve onboarding/induction processes using data and structured problem-solving.

Module 8

Contributing to Change Initiatives and Organisational Improvement

Support compliant, well-communicated change; coach managers and plan tasks/timelines.

Understand EPA structure, gateway evidence, strong project characteristics and discussion techniques.

If English is your second language...

You must be able to understand and articulate yourself to a level that will allow you to benefit from and ultimately pass the End-Point-Assessment of the qualification

How is The Programme Assessed?


End Point Assessment (EPA) occurs at the end of the apprenticeship against the occupational standard.

The EPA period is typically 3 months and includes:

A consultative project

A practical HR-focused project addressing a real business issue.

Professional discussion underpinned by a portfolio of workplace development evidence

A structured discussion referencing collected workplace evidence.
